Phillip Hogan currently works as a Production Editor for a prestigious and globally recognised publishing company.

He now brings his considerable experience to Tea News as editor. In this role he is responsible for commissioning new writing, selecting content, ensuring editorial guidelines are adhered to and making sure that all copy has been properly researched and checked prior to publication. He also spends a significant proportion of his time researching what information is currently available to the tea trade to ensure that Tea News remains the leading source of trade information and delivers valuable, accurate, entertaining and reliable content to our readers and subscribers, especially clients of All About Tea.

Andrew Gadsden (Trade News)

Andrew Gadsden is Managing Director of All About Tea. He is also The Saviour of Tea. He writes on a variety off subjects for Tea News, specialising in trade stories from around the world. Andrew is also responsible for our famous Beginners’ Guides To Tea.

Brian Writer (Head Taster and Specialist Tea News)

Brian Writer is Head Taster and writes on specialist tea matters.

Brian is the UK’s foremost authority on tea, a member of the UK Tea Council and a leading figure within the trade. He has spent the last 55 years of his life tasting and trading teas, first as a broker at the London Tea Auctions, and latterly as the Buying Director at one of the UK’s most important tea trading companies. He recently announced his much-delayed retirement, though it doubtful whether he will ever truly retire. He remains, at the age of 72, a Director of the Windmill Tea Company which he founded with his wife, Margaret. His dog is called Camellia, after the tea plant Camellia Sinensis.
