Mao Feng Keemun
Temporarily sold out!
Keemun tea comes from the Anhui Province of E. China and is known as the “Burgundy of Teas”.
Strong, sweet, aromatic and full of flavour, Keemun is one of the great teas of the world.
Historically Anhui Province produced only Green teas of rather moderate quality, but within the last 150 years black tea production has grown and the quality is in many cases excellent. Keemun tea is identifiable by its small, wiry, extremely consistent and aromatic, slightly smoky leaf.
With its smoky character and high quality, Mao Feng Keemun produces an exceptionally fine liquor with a flavour that lingers on the pallet. As you take a sip, roll the tea around the mouth to appreciate the complex flavour. Light enough to be enjoyed without milk, this superb tea is best enjoyed on its own.
To brew, place one tsp of Mao Feng Keemun per person into a warmed pot or Mug Infuser and add fresh boiling water. Allow to brew for 4 minutes and drink without milk.
If you like Mao Feng Keemun, why not give Keemun Orchid a try?
