Mango

Mangoes are a reminder that the world is fundamentally ordered for our joy and happiness.

This miraculously healthy fruit is also one of the most heavenly flavours on earth - syrupy sweetness softened by a slight, sensuous peppery complexity.

China Congou is a naturally sweet, full-flavoured black tea with rich, complex flavour.  The large, wiry leaf is visually attractive and has a rich, sweet aroma when dry.  It brews to produce a golden, coppery liquor in the cup.  It has good colour, strength and brightness, and a distinct floral fragrance.

The flavours of Congou and Mango combine extremely successfully.  This is a rather delicate, subtle brew where the Mango complements rather than overpowers the Congou, highlighting the sweet/fruity notes that are naturally present in the tea .  Refreshing, calming, and sophisticated.

To brew,  put one rounded tsp of Mango Leaf per person in a pot or Mug Infuser.  Add fresh, boiling water.  Brew for 3 mins and serve without milk.
