Real tea from Kenya!
Kenya, a relatively late starter in the tea world, has swiftly developed her tea industry to become one of the top five tea exporting nations today. It is easy to see why. Her climate is ideal for the production of quality teas, most of which are sold at auction in Mombasa and exported to be used in blends by some of the most famous names in the tea world. &
This tea comes from high up in Kericho District. The height lets the tea grow slowly and develop good polyphenol content – these are the compounds that give tea its complex flavour. This is a classic flavoury Kenya, aromatic, with a bright coppery liquor and a hint of malt.
Put one tsp of fine Kenya tea per person into a warmed pot or Mug Infuser and pour on freshly-drawn, boiling water. Brew for 4 mins and strain into mugs or cups. Best served with milk, and sugar if desired.
