Classic Blends

Irish Breakfast is an invigorating and delicious blend of finest Ceylon and Assam teas. This strong, sweet, beautifully balanced blend is the perfect start to a day. Even a rainy day (which it generally is in Ireland).
Ceylon teas are grown in what is now called Sri Lanka, but for some reason the use of the old name has persisted. High-grown Ceylon teas are bright and lively, with a full, distinctive flavour and aroma and a light amber colour.
Ceylon originally grew only coffee. How that beautiful country came to become the great tea exporting nation she is today is one of the most remarkable turnaround stories of all time. English Breakfast - a careful mix of Assam, Kenya and Ceylon teas and perhaps the most famous blend in the world. The Assam gives the blend strength, the Ceylon flavour and balance, and the Kenya colour.
English Breakfast Tea is full-bodied, rich and robust, with a wonderful sweet round flavour. The fine leaf produces a strong, quick-brewing tea.
To brew: Place one teaspoon per person in a warmed pot and add fresh boiling water. Allow to brew for 5 minutes. Strain into cups or mugs. This tea can be enjoyed with milk and sugar or on its own.

Apple and Mango is an exquisitely refreshing, delicately sweet combination. The rich but subtle, faintly peppery flavour of the mango is balanced with the pleasant, invigorating sharpness of the apple. This delicious flavour combination can be perfectly appreciated with China Congou black tea.
China Congou is a naturally sweet, full-flavoured black tea with rich, complex flavour. The large, wiry leaf is visually attractive and has a rich, sweet aroma when dry. It brews to produce a golden, coppery liquor in the cup. It has good colour, strength and brightness, and a distinct floral fragrance.
To brew, put one bag of Apple and Mango Tea per person in a mug. Add fresh, boiling water. Brew for 4 mins and serve without milk.
